Saw it. Didn't change my opinion.

Struck me as a rather naive film. Try Skeptoid's take instead: Skeptoid Episode 162, Locally Grown Produce

Wow. Two comments on the mac and cheese in a week.

Economics times must be rough. I guess I'd better start reviewing Cup o'Noodles :-)

I have tried the easy mac and it's pretty good. I have noticed the white powder in the bottom of the bowl. And have you noticed that when you add the water and put in the micro to boil, and in the middle of the boil you take out of the micro to stir, it looks slimmy . Is that a chemical reaction that the noodels need to cook? And is it really good for us? I wonder if I should let my daughter keep eating this.

Ok the triple cheese is awesome. But I am with you on the serving size; way to small. I think it just intensified my hunger, rather than satisfying it. I found this site because of the mysterious "White Powder" Thanks for the explanation. :) We probably digest it in so many other products but just now noticed it due to the warning on the side of the package and the oddity of the powder in the noodles.

Bigger size please. Happy eating!

Maltodextrin! Thanks for the info.

I looked that one up on wikipedia...

Dextrins find widespread use in industry, due to their non-toxicity and their low price. They are used as water-soluble glues, as thickening agents in food processing, and as binding agent in pharmaceuticals. In pyrotechnics, they are added to fire formulas, allowing them to solidify as pellets or "stars." Cyclodextrins find additional use in analytical chemistry as a matrix for the separation of hydrophobic substances, and as excipients in pharmaceutical formulations. Not all forms of dextrin are digestible, and indigestible dextrin is sometimes used in fiber supplements.
