Killer Sudoku Aide is your handy sidekick for helping with solving Killer Sudoku puzzles. It can help you figure out all possible combinations for a block of cells, and it can help you weed out impossible combinations.
Killer Sudoku Aide has two main tools. In “Combinations” mode, given a cage’s size and sum, it can calculate all possible digits – as an aggregate or a listing of possible combinations to achieve the sum. You can narrow that down by adding digits you know must be included or those that must not.
The second “Possibles” mode goes a step beyond that. Given the same information from Combinations mode, if you’ve narrowed a cell down to a shortlist, Possibles can aggregate all the combinations for each possible choice and give you a matrix of all the digits that may exist in the remaining cells.
It’s a great tool if you’re just starting out with Killer Sudoku puzzles; and even if you’re old hand at them, it can still be handy.
It won’t solve Killer Sudoku Puzzles for you, but it can get you back in the game if you’re stuck.
