Irene, the kids and I drove drove around last night wanting to find food after looking for the teething biscuits. Not wanting to spend our entire food budget on the price of gas, we settled for eating at Fatburger. We happened to have a “buy one chili dog, get one chili dog free” coupon.
Wow, was that a mistake. The chili was so bad it completely ruined the chili dogs. I’d have thought that was impossible. I hope that chili isn’t a secret recipe because it tasted more like that’d scraped the scraps of meat out of the hamburger grill’s drip tray. Add to that the buns were stale and the hot dog completely overpowered by the chili.
If that had beent he first chili dog I’d ever had, it would have been the last.
I suppose i’ll have to try a hamburger there now, just to be fair. It is, after all, fatburger not fat-chili dog.
